My playing around with drawing in an etegami manner, even though the paper was not one with "bleed", has freed me up a bit in using brush pens . . . without the ever-present underlying pencil guidelines. Yesterday I even did so In Public! While someone was watching me, no less.
Wow! You !did great! I have been enjoying your etegami-like drawings. As a perfectionist, I struggle to loosen up with my drawings. I think you have mastered the brush pen!
ReplyDeleteCan I "like" your comment? I've been caught up in perfectionism for way too long! Etegami definitely helps me get free of that, as does brush pens which have been tricky for me to control.
ReplyDeleteI aspire to be as brave and freed as you!
ReplyDeleteLOL -- I'm not always so brave! The person watching me is a dear friend who thinks anything I "doodle" is wonderful. If my own grown children were watching me, I'd be a basket case!
