loft studio
A few days ago I sketched my folding camp chair; now I drew it in its environment -- up in the loft of our tiny log cabin. That door on the right leads out onto a wee balcony.
Not shown at this angle, behind me to the left, is a long, low bookshelf full of books, papers, and supplies -- my paints are in an antique oak tool box on top of the shelf. There's also an old steamer trunk to the right containing book-binding supplies. All odds and ends collected from family members or built by Bill.
It may be small, but what a wonderful studio!
