Just last week, I looked out the front windows and saw this view across the street. There were drifts of snow several feet high in places.
This week brought warmer-than-average temperatures and the snow appears to be gone, except for the odd weeping "mountain" in parking lots here and there from clearing the lots.
We are being teased with the hint of an early spring. Hope it continues!
In this sketch, I was playing around with some new Tombow markers and a waterbrush.
Love your drawing, hope the good weather holds out!
ReplyDeleteUsing the Tombow markers can be lots of fun. We're definitely being teased with the nice weather. Hopefully what you shared above will be the last for this winter season (snow that is). I love snow but I'm ready for the warmer temps and being able to do something outdoors other than slip-sliding and shoveling :-)
ReplyDeleteI love how the Tombow markers leave just enough soluble ink to make a wash, but still leave the original lines. These grays and browns seem to work nicely together too. FUN!
ReplyDeleteI totally dislike ice. No excuses left to keep from daily walking again.
