a random vine as I wait
Another day waiting for Bill as he does his post-surgery physical therapy. Parked facing west instead of the usual east, I see this random vine growing up a small tree instead of the usual plain brick wall. Color added later at home.
Only 2 more days of PT followed by a phone conference with the surgeon’s PA. Hopefully he will then be cleared medically.
Just wanted to pop in to say how much I enjoy receiving your posts. I love the palette paint-outs, your mixes and your paintings (&annotations) of things that catch your eye in the day to day moments of life. All of the latter spark my imagination! I have also often wondered if you allow your material to be pinned on Pinterest boards? Praying that your husband's meeting with the doctor will be full of good news!
After having been inspired by so many other online sketchers (as well as several in person), I am happy to pass it on! My journals are simply an illustrated diary of sorts but I hope to be an encouragement to others. In the past I have had my original work appear on Pinterest with no acknowledgement or link back to me. This has happened to a couple of my artist friends as well. Because of this theft of others’ creative property, I choose to have nothing to do with the site. Thank you for your sweet comments and prayers!
