I've not been here in a while...not been posting in a LOOONG time until the other day....but WOW! Your moving to Texas! And Dang! I moved to Idaho in October 2012. My parents still live there though, for now, and I'll have reasons to visit now and again. Maybe I'll get to meet you someday! The artwork is looking lovely! Hope you love your new home and Happy New Year!
Raena, that's how I felt when you moved to Utah --- I figured we would someday move to Texas and had looked forward to meeting you and sketching together. We have kids living just north of Jersey Village, Houston and just west of Sugarland so it would have been easy to arrange to meet you. We bought a home near Lake Somerville, north of Brenham.
Bummer! My husband and brother-in-law used to go water-skiing on Lake Somerville all the time before we moved to Idaho the first time. My brother-in-law still lives in College Station, which is where I went to college. Also, Alex lives in Houston and I never got together with him before I left either!
I find it ammusing that we now own a cabin near a lake, yet have not as yet actually SEEN the lake! Been a bit pre-occupied. Who is Alex? I think I should know, but a tremendously powerful head-cold is hampering my thoughts. Do you know any other sketchers in the area? I am REALLY miserable about not being able to meet up with Kate for sketch crawls. Worst thing about relocating.
The eyes of Texas are upon you. :) ah boxes. I remember that like it was yesterday even tho it's been ten years now. Happy packing. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cris . . . I so wish you were here to help! ;^D
DeleteHope you have a safe trip moving...pretty cute cooking. Have a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Debbie! The cookies were yummy to eat. Have a blessed day, yourself!
