I have tried to use the masking fluid on the frothy areas of waves and have never been satisfied with how artificial the whites end up looking, so I know what you mean. I don't know how to fix that though. In person, the torn paper jumps out and the masked white ares are "choppy" looking. I think the foreground could have been handled with more care also. But it's all a learning experience!Vicky L. Or its being brand new? I wonder if the Daniel Smith mask was globby because it is about a year old and had not been used.<br />Everyday is still warm here so that didn't cause any problems.
